You’ve re-energized the Seven Gables marketing department, created new initiatives, and achieved success from the ground up. What contributed to the company’s growth and marketing success?
Our success is a direct reflection of our executive team and the forward thinking mentality of Mike Hickman, our President and CEO. Mike allows his team to create and innovate and he believes in allowing people to do the job he hired them to do. The culture at Seven Gables is like no other that I have ever experienced. We are a family here and everyone matters.
Who are 2 inspiring women role models in your life?
I am inspired every day by the strong and beautiful women in my life. My dear female friends who are in all different age groups between 25 to 87 are constant role models for me. The courage and strength that they show every single day help to keep me humble and honored to call them my friends.
What are your favorite things to do outside of work?
I love to go hiking and cycling when I can. I love the outdoors, especially the beach. I am also very much into the arts including theatre, music and fine art.
What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
Ha! The first thing that comes to my mind is to NEVER date anyone you work with. I have stayed true to that and it has boded well for me 🙂
What is one thing people don’t know about you?
I am currently taking glass blowing classes at the Laguna Sawdust Festival. Being creative is good for my soul.
