Did You Know?? Many people ask us where the KoaWare name from, or if we’re from Hawaii! Acacia Koa is a species of flowering tree found throughout the islands of Hawaii that is traditionally used to create surfboards, guitars, canoes, and other works of art. In the Hawaiian language, koa, also means brave, bold, fearless, or warrior.
To us, “koa” represents all that our platform can be: bold, courageous, visionary, forward-thinking, creative, beautiful, and unique. We believe being different is a good thing, and we will always strive to create the next game changer.
How’d we come up with it? KoaWare Founders, Alex Gustafson & Kristyn Roth, spent months trying to decide on a name – with an available domain – and little success. When traveling, they came across a little pup named Koa in Costa Rica, and the rest is history.
We love scrolling through the KoaWare Property Sites that have been created by agents, photographers, and marketers around the country; from eye-catching homes, to simple pleasures, to more creative showcases, it’s fun to see listings from coast to coast. Each week we choose our favorite, and share it on our blog, and across our social channels – your Property Website could be next!
